My Ethics Code

Authenticity 

Authenticity is something I hold close to my heart. To me, being authentic means being true to ones values and personality regardless of the pressure from others. Authenticity is valuable in the workplace because it allows peers to openly share their thoughts and feelings.

Trust

Trust is at the center of every relationship, whether professional or personal. The advertising industry promotes a magnitude of different ideas and products. I need to work for an agency that values and shares the truth and not opinion. As an advertising professional, I promise to always strive for the truth.

Fairness

Fairness is the center of my ethical code. I value equity and believe all individuals deserve basic human rights. I stand up for acts of oppression and vocalize when certain groups have an unfair advantage. 

Attitude 

My attitude shall remain positive and hopeful for every client and colleague I encounter. I will express professionalism, expertise and patience. I cannot predict every hardship, but I can control my external emotions.

Honesty  

I expect my employer and agency to be sincere and open with their employees and clients. While lying can provide temporary comfort, honesty will result in better relationships internally and externally. 

Respect 

Every person I encounter has experienced unique challenges that formed them into who they are today. I strive to value and appreciate all people and their unique qualities.
